Sinochem International Corporation Inaugurates Overseas Offices

Carrying on its philosophy of Creating Value, Pursuing Excellence, Sinochem International Corporation recently inaugurated the first two Overseas offices of its Agrochemicals Business Unit.
On October 10, 2008 representatives from Sinochem International s headquarters in Shanghai (Mr. Xian Ming, EVP; Mr. Xin Hengde, VP and CFO; Mr. Li Dajun, VP and General Manager for Agrochemical and Chlor-Alkali Business Unit) together with Sinochem Philippines country lead- Mr.Ramil Bonifacio led the formal inauguration of the Manila office of Sinochem Crop Protection Philippines, Inc. The inauguration ceremonies started with the office blessing followed by a simple program wherein Mr. Xian Ming was the keynote speaker.
From Manila the Sinochem International Executive Team members then flew to New Delhi to lead the office inauguration rites of Sinochem India Company Private, Ltd. which was held on October 14. As per Indian tradition a Puja ceremony was conducted as a symbolic way of opening Sinochem International s business with an auspicious beginning. Mr. Xian Ming was also the keynote speaker during the meeting held with Sinochem India s key distributors.

In both the Manila and New Delhi office inaugurations the presence of important guests C composed of Monsanto and other business partners, as well as selected customers, vendors and invited friends C made the events more meaningful. These guests reacted positively to the message delivered by Mr. Xian in his speech as he declared that those events were more than just the inauguration of Sinochem International s new Overseas offices.

These important events also reaffirmed the company s commitment to the long term development of its Agrichem core business and long term growth and expansion of its investment in the Philippines and India while contributing to the progress and development of the local farmers in particular and the economies of these two Asian countries in general.
