SC QINGDAO Joins Sinochem Int'l Fleet

On Sep 5, handover ceremony of SC QINGDAO, double hull ship with a carrying capacity of 13,000 ton which would provide transportation services for liquid chemicals, was held in Pusan, Korea. Mr. Mao Jianong and Mr. Li Chao, deputy general managers of Sinochem Int'l and representatives of 21st Century Shipyard of Korea attended to ceremony.
On behalf of Sinochem, Mr. Mao Jianong extended gratitude to 21st Century Shipyard, supervision team in Korea sent from Sinochem Shipping Co. and Korean Register of Shipping for their great contribution to the building of SC QINGDAO.
In January, 2007, Sinochem Int'l signed an agreement with South Korea's 21st Century Shipyard for building four 13,000 ton double hull ships which would provide transportation service for liquid chemicals. SC QINGDAO was the very first of the four. After the handover, SC QINGDAO would be put in far-east and middle-east navigation lines, providing transportation service for liquid chemicals.
Currently, Sinochem Int'l possesses over 30 IMO II/III ships, each of which has a carrying capacity from 1,000 to 14,000 ton and could provide transportation service for bulk liquid chemicals. The company is one of the largest domestic entities providing transportation service for liquid chemicals.
