Board of Supervision and Board of Directors Visit Jinghong Rubber Plant

On Sep 24, members of board of supervision and board of directors of Sinochem Int'l inspected the construction of Jinghong Rubber Plant in Xishuangbanna.

Luo Dongjiang, chairman of Sinochem Int'l, inspected the sewage treatment project, quality control room, SCR production workshop, TSR production workshop and warehouses of raw materials (finished goods). He also listened to the report about the situation of the construction of Jinghong rubber plant.

Chairman Luo asked the management team to focus on the purchasing of raw materials and how to improve of product quality. Zhang Zenggen, general manager of Sinochem Int'l, stressed that integrative management should be further enhanced and the coordination of software and hardware should be reinforced in order to meet the target of building Jinghong Rubber Plant as a leading rubber processing plant in Asia and the rest of the world.

120 million RMB has been invested into the construction of Jinghong rubber plant. The works started in 2007. The plant was put into trial operation in July, 2008, mainly engaged in the production of high value-added premium rubber dedicated to all-steel radial tyres. With a 45,000 ton annual production capacity of dry rubber, the plant is the largest and most sophisticated natural rubber processing plant in China.
