On November 23, 2010, Sinochem - Stolt Shipping Co., Ltd and SABIC (SABIC is short for Saudi Basic Industry Corporation) held a signing ceremony in Jin Mao Tower. Cheng Weiqiang, General Manager of Sinochem - Stolt Shipping Co., Ltd and Ibrahim.Alhasan, Asia-Pacific Regional Manager of Chemical Supply Management signed the contract on behalf of both parties.
Zhang Xuegong, Vice President of Sinochem International, Saleh i. Al Shabnan, General Manager of SABIC Chemical Supply Management and Khalid Al-Baiz, Greater China Regional Manager of Chemical Goods Transport Security Department attended the ceremony.
SABIC is located in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi and was established in 1976. It is the largest and most profitable non-oil company in Middle East, as well as the 5th biggest petrochemical manufacturer in the world.
