CGGC was awarded Shire-Adi Abun Project Bid

On June 29 CGGC received a Letter of Acceptance from the Ethiopian Roads Authority that CGGC was awarded the bid of Shire-Adi Abn Section of the Adigrat Adwa Shire Road Upgrading Project (hereinafter referred to as the Project ) with a total bid price of 429million Ethiopian Birr (approximately 378million RMB). It was another Ethiopian road project contracted by CGGC.

Shire-Adi Abun road located at south-wese Ethiopia, 1050km from Addis Ababa and linked with Shire-Shiraro-Humera-Lugdi Road awarded to CGGC in the end of 2006. The Contract consists of double-lane highway construction and rehabilitation with a total length of 92km, rebuild from gravel pavement to asphalt concrete pavement with a thickness of 3 to 5cm and a width of 6.5 ~14m, rehabilitate the existing culverts and bridges, build new culverts and bridges. Period of completion is 1095 days.
