On 10 Dec 2008, East Sea Bridge in Shanghai that CGGC once participated in its construction was awarded Golden Prize for National Excellent Projects .

The Prize was organized by Construction Enterprise Management Association of China and reviewed and determined by the Review Committee of National Excellent Projects through extensive selection, expert pre-review and spot re-check on the basis of comprehensive evaluation on national key works. Finally 4 projects including East Sea Bridge were evaluated and awarded golden prizes and 134 projects silver prizes in 2008.
