Nie Kai Met Pakistani Prime Minister Gilani

On October 15, 2009, Nie Kai, Vice President of CGGC, paid a visit to Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani, Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan who was paying a state visit to China, in the Diaoyutai State Guesthouse in Beijing.

Prime Minister Gilani praised CGGC for its involvement in the hydropower construction in Pakistan. He also extolled the company s strength and capability in infrastructure construction, and spoke highly of the smooth progress of the NJ Hydropower Station Project in Pakistan undertaken by CGGC. He hoped CGGC would continue playing an active part in the infrastructure construction in Pakistan, and train more technical talents for his country.

Nie Kai acknowledged the Prime Minister for the concern and support for the company s projects in Pakistan. He said that CGGC not only managed to fulfill its duties according to the contract but also paid more attention to its social responsibility. He promised that CGGC would spare no effort to build the NJ Hydropower Station, and continue to actively participate in the infrastructure construction in Pakistan, train more technical talents for Pakistan and make the due contribution to the economic development of Pakistan.
