1st China-made Unit (700MW) Rotor of Longtan HPP in Place

No. 5 unit rotor of the said HPP made in China and installed by CGGC was lifted and put into place on 26 June 2008, which was the rotor of the first fully air-cooling mixed-flow turbine generator unit (700MW) installed by CGGC in Longtan HPP. It makes practical the target of 4 units put into operation in 2008.

Powerhouse of Longtan HPP

Longtan HPP is located at the upstream of Hongshui River in Guangxi with installed capacity of 6300MW (9*700MW), which is 35% to 40% of the total developable capacity on Hongshui River. The Project is to be constructed in two stages. Totally 7 turbine-generator units will be installed and put into operation with installed capacity of 4900MW and annual power generation of 156,70GWh upon completion of the first stage.
