China Agri-Industries Holdings Limited has won the Silver Award in the category of "Agribusiness" in the 2008 Vision Awards Annual Report Competition, which was organized by the League of American Communications Professionals LLC (LACP) for its 2008 Annual Report.
China Agri is the only Asian company to win the award in the Agribusiness category. The Company was commended for its overall efforts in creating one of the best reports within the agribusiness industry. The Chairman s Letter to Shareholder section in particular was cited by the judges for its clarity and robust financial presentation. The report was also praised for its effective message delivery, easy access to key information and the level of creativity shown.
More than 3,500 entries were received for the 8th Vision Awards, comprising submissions from more than 20 countries. Entries are judged for Chairman s letter to shareholders, message clarity, narrative content, financial content, information accessibility, as well as the report cover, creativity and overall impression.
