CSR manufactures Zhengzhou-XI an high-speed EMUs

On February 6, Zhengzhou-Xi an High-speed Railway was open, and all the EMUs put into operation were 350kmph CRH2 high-speed EMUs developed and manufactured by CSR. The operations of the EMUs will reduce the time of travel between Zhengzhou and Xi an from six hours to less two.

Harmony CRH2 high-speed EMU was independently developed and manufactured by CSR Qingdao Sifang Locomotive & Rolling Stock Co., Ltd. This kind of EMU achieved a record high of 394.2kmph when it was on trial operation on Zhengzhou-Xi an Line last December, becoming another representative work of China Speed .

The first batch of EMUs put into operation on Zhengzhou-Xi an High-speed Railway made fully use of technical achievements of Beijing-Tianjin and Wuhan-Guangzhou high-speed railways, made innovations and improvements on the basis of summing up the achievements in the joint commissioning and scientific research experiments of the two railways as well as the experience in application and maintenance, and accomplished a series of independent innovations through technical upgrading in bogie, body, traction system, brake system, vibration absorption and noise reduction, passenger interface and other aspects.
