CISDI Develops World s First Mandril Circulating Device of Spatial Formula

The heat-load trial run was successfully undertaken for the puncher area of 258 hot continuous rolling tube works of Jiangsu Xigang Group on January 4, 2011. This project was contracted by CISDI Engineering Co., Ltd. (CISDI) on an EPC basis. At the puncher area, the mandril circulating device of spatial formula for large-tube assembly was employed, the very first one in the whole world which was independently designed and manufactured by CISDI. This facility will efficiently shorten the aperture time of perforation and thus increase the productivity.
The steel-tube manufacturers has long been puzzled by the technical difficulties in decreasing the aperture time of perforation, shortening the rolling cycle, prolonging the service life of the mandril and enhancing the productivity. Under the 258 hot continuous rolling tube works, CISDI redoubled efforts on R&D to resolve this problem, and eventually developed the abovementioned mandril circulating device with proprietary intellectual property rights. The successful trial run marks that this facility has passed through the test by engineering practice.
