Chen Run'er Inspects 5 Major River-crossing Traffic Projects

Chen Run er, secretary of the CPC Changsha Municipal Committee, came to the construction site of Yingpanlu Tunnel under the Xiangjiang River to learn the construction progress and extend greetings to constructors who are keeping to their posts, on Jan. 1.
On the afternoon of January 1, Chen Run er, secretary of the CPC Changsha Municipal Committee, accompanied by Secretary General of the CPC Changsha Municipal Committee Cheng Shuiquan and Vice Mayor of Changsha City Li Jun, braved the snow to the construction sites of 5 major river-crossing traffic projects, namely, Yingpanlu Tunnel under the Xiangjiang River, Fuyuanlu Bridge and Xiangfulu Bridge over the Xiangjiang River, Nanhulu Tunnel under the Xiangjiang River, and River-crossing Tunnel of No. 2 Metro Line. They extended new-year greetings to the constructors there and conveyed gratitude for their contributions to the economic and social development of Changsha.

It is informed that the 5 traffic projects are to be completed in 3 years. Secretary Chen stated that efforts should be exerted to accelerate construction of those five projects in a well-organized way, and guarantee quality and safety, thus to benefit the masses and ease traffic pressure at an early date.
