Recently, leaders of provincial, municipal committees and the Office of Taiwan Affairs made an investigation in Pingyin county. The investigation group successively investigated Taiwan-owned enterprises and park s development conditions on Jinan Hongzheng Technology Co., Ltd. and Shandong (Pingyin) Taiwan Agriculture Park; made a field investigation on the development perspective of Huzhuang Shengmushan Catholic religious culture and tourism, Hongfanchi famous spring, and Yuncuishan Taoism culture and tourism; paid an important visit to Jinan Tianyuan Rose Co., Ltd., and were introduced to the enterprise s production and operation.
The leaders fully affirmed the soft or hard conditions and corresponding policies and measures that the county would continue to strengthen the work for Taiwan and attract Taiwan investors according to the local situation, while they promised to give much support and help to the local trade and investment promotion.
Furthermore, they ordered the county government to promote the industry relying on the local situation while actively introducing R&D facilities from Taiwan and providing Taiwan investors with convenient and fast service including residence, living and culture to realize the centralized development of Taiwan-owned enterprises in Pingyin.
At present, there are 8 Taiwan-owned enterprises with the investments totaling 74 million US dollars, annual sales income 0.55 billion yuan and contributing 69 million yuan in taxes to this county.
