The Moon Bay City Manor, started in 2009, is to be opened on the Labour Day this year.
Located in Yanger Village of Licheng District, the scenic area is 23 km from downtown Jinan. With the principle of protecting natural resources and the aim of promoting ecological environment, the scenic area pays much attention to the harmony between Human beings and Nature.
Invested and constructed by the cooperative of all villagers in Yanger Village, the garden is a large multi-functional and eco-agricultural scenic area with the theme activities including travelling, folk culture entertainment, eco-agriculture sightseeing and the development of subsidiary agricultural products. The garden covers an area of more than 7000 mu, with the core area accounting for 1500 mu. An 120-mu high-standard organic vegetable greenhouse has been completed. The residential quarter consists of the folk village, the horse show arena, the amusement park and the aquatic children playground. The ecological preservation area, spreading over an area of 300 mu, has the largest peony garden in Jinan with a total number of 250,000 peony and more than 500 afforestration trees like the Chinese scholar tree.
