The 9 giants placing orders at Jiangsu Big Buyer Purchasing Fair are: Carrefour, Metro, Nestle, HRG, Britain s biggest daily goods retailer, Woolworths, Australia s biggest retailer, El Corte Ingles, the biggest department store company of Spain, Decathlon Group of France and Coles Group of Australia. Most of them are Fortune Top 500 and their annual sales revenue is more than hundreds of billions RMB.
Why the purchasing giants chose Nanjing? Big buyer representative Jasan said that, Nanjing is a central city connecting the east and the west in the Yangtze River Delta Region. There are more and more trade companies in neighboring cities and provinces. The big buyers saw the trend and took Nanjing as the regional purchasing center.

Foreign trade of Jiangsu increased robustly this year, which is another reason for holding the fair in Nanjing. Da Jiaxiang, vice director-general of Bureau of Commerce of Jiangsu said that the trend of foreign trade is robust in Jiangsu. In the first 3 quarters, total import-export value of foreign trade in Jiangsu is 338.37 billion USD, increased 41.8% YoY, which draws attention from international purchasing giants.
