August 30, a government and business delegation, headed by Minister Yan Jinyong of Singapore Manpower, arrived in Dalian for a visit. Cao Aihua, member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Dalian Committee and vice mayor, met with the delegation in the New World Hotel Dalian yesterday.
Cao welcomed the delegation and introduced them to Dalian s economic and social development. She said that since China adopted the reform and opening-up policy, Dalian and Singapore have developed good cooperative relations. In the new round of development, we will further open up and assemble more production factors and resources in Dalian. We expect that the visit of the delegation will promote bilateral cooperation to a deeper, wider scope of development.
During their visit to Dalian, the delegation had a study tour in the Changxing Island Harbor Industrial Zone and Dalian Ascendas IT Park. Yan Jinyong said that they will actively promote cooperation between Dalian and Singapore enterprises to realize mutual benefit and a win-win result.
