Korean Enterprises Purchasing Group Came to Jiangsu

At Jiangsu-Korea Trade Fair, South Korean Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export took a South Korean Enterprises Purchasing Group to Jiangsu. Over 300 companies of Jiangsu came to meet them with their knockout products. In the first half of this year, import and export trade between Jiangsu and South Korea grew rapidly. Total trade amount reached nearly 26 billion USD, growing 60% on a year on year basis.

The trade fair was organized by Jiangsu Bureau of Commerce, Nanjing Bureau of Commerce, China International Electronic Commerce Center and Trade2cn.com. South Korean Enterprises focused on purchasing products of chemicals, pharmaceutical, foods, building materials and mechanicals, which are advantageous products of Jiangsu. Source of Jiangsu Bureau of Commerce said that, South Korea is the 4th biggest trade partner, the 6th biggest export market and the biggest import source of Jiangsu. 2009, import and export total of Jiangsu and South Korea hit 38 billion USD, accounting for about a quarter of China-Korea import and export trade. Jiangsu exported products of about 10 billion USD to South Korea and imported about 23 billion USD from there. Jiangsu is also one of the provinces where South Korea does most investment. As of June, there are more than 4,200 companies invested by South Korea in Jiangsu, with actual investment total of nearly 9 billion USD. (Nanjing Daily)
