Retrospect of Victory Russian Theme Exhibition held in Nanjing

The 65th anniversary of the victory of Chinese People s Anti-Japanese War and Anti-Fascist War in the World is in this year. October 22nd, organized by World War II Memorial Complex of Russia, Memorial Museum of Chinese People s Anti-Japanese War and the Memorial Hall of the Victims in Nanjing Massacre by Japanese Invaders, Retrospect of Victory Russian Theme Exhibition was held in Nanjing, as one of the activity of 2010 WHCCE.

This is the first time for Nanjing Massacre Memorial Hall to hold theme exhibition on Anti-Japanese War with other international memorial halls since its establishment in 1985. Items on display include more than 200 precious photos and over 70 art works painted during the time of the Great Patriotic War, private documents of USSR officers and soldiers and more than 90 valuable articles and materials related to the war. Most of the pictures are exhibited in Nanjing for the first time.

Russian Embassy in China and Russian Consulate General in Shanghai both sent congratulatory letters to the exhibition. Before, the exhibition was held for 2 month since July 7th, 2010, at Memorial Museum of Chinese People s Anti-Japanese War in Beijing and well received by people from all walks of life.
