Establishment of Jinling Customs has been approved by the State Council. This newly set up customs will make a holistic plan of customs affairs in Nanjing region, therefore foreign trade companies in Nanjing will reduce their operation cost. Now, preparation for Jinling Customs is ongoing including venue selection.
Nanjing now has got 1 Class A National Water Transportation Port, 1 Class A National Airport, 1 Export Processing Zone and 1 Bonded Logistics Center. There are Nanjing Xinshengwei Customs, Offices of Nanjing Customs in Lukou Airport, Jiangning Development Zone, Post Office, etc. By setting up Jinling Customs, customs offices in Nanjing can be planned as a whole and customs supervision and services will be optimized.
