The huge insurance market of Jiangsu is like a magnet that keeps attracting insurance companies o come for market shares. After the spring festival, Zhejiang based Zheshang Property and Casulaty Insurance Company Ltd. and Northeast China based Aeon Life Insurance Company Ltd. have settled in Nanjing and a US based Chubb Insurance Company has set up its Jiangsu Branch in Nanjing.
Chubb Group of Insurance Companies is one of the 4 biggest listed insurance companies in the US. It has affiliates all over the world. According to the company, when clients are under unforeseen circumstances such as offshore goods rejection, transaction on credit or sued by overseas traders due to unacquaitance of commercial rules , they have leverages to deal with the cases. Chubb also hopes to explore insurance services in fields of clean energy, bio-science and solar energy.
