Xinjiang Draws 60B Yuan

In the first half of this year, Xinjiang has drawn in over 59.3 billion yuan of investment, a rise of 38.49 percent year-on-year.

With the opening of central government's conference on Xinjiang's work and the assisting package of the 19 provinces and municipalities, Xinjiang has attracted more enterprises of world top 500 and China top 500 and the competitive companies for inspection. According to the statistics,over 1,000 investors have consulted XJ Bureau of Investment Promotion by calls, letters or visit the region in the first half of this year.

Moreover, 26 famous companies have settled down, with 1,401 projects implemented. In the second half of this year, another 11 enterprises of the top 500 will start businesses in Xinjiang, covering energy, chemical industry and logistics. Xinjiang authorities have made arrangement for improving investment environment and other work.
