Elec-Tech invests on green battery in Zhongshan

Party Secretary Chen Genkai met with Wang Donglei, Chairman of Elec-Tech International Co., Ltd. (abbreviated as Elec-Tech) yesterday. He shows the government s support for the company s new plan to develop green energy industry in Zhongshan.

Elec-Tech has a long history of investment in Zhongshan. One of the sub-companies Wisda Electric (Zhongshan) Manufacturing Co., Ltd., with annual sales of over one billion yuan on household toaster, oven and other small household electrical appliances, has settled down in Wuguishan district in 1999. Its products have been exported to countries in Europe and America. Wisda also increased the investment on LED light industry last year.

The company accelerated the pace of industrial upgrading this year, introducing hi-techs into the energy industry, developing new generation of environmentally clean energy lithium iron battery. It plans to cooperate with Zhongshan and other auto companies to promote this project.
