MEMS experts expected to open business in Zhongshan with projects

On 22nd June, Acting Mayor Xue Xiaofeng met with Dr. Sun Bohua, the head of Institute of Mechanics, Intelligent Structure and Microsystems Research in Cape Peninsula University of Technology, South Africa, discussing details of the MEMS project settlement in Zhongshan.

After the foundation of Zhongshan Semiconductor Industrial Technology Association in 2009, LED industry has been a leading industry of new energies in Zhongshan. In the meeting, Dr. Sun Bohua expressed his wish to promote the industrialization of MEMS motion sensor chip in Zhongshan.

Hi-tech projects should be pioneers to lead industrial transformation and upgrading in Zhongshan , said Xue Xiaofeng. In order to establish a new-type Three Suitables city, it is necessary to stress on creating an innovative environment, adapting the pattern of capital plus intelligence and attracting the excellent and top talents to finally increase industrial competitiveness and upgrade independent innovation of enterprises in Zhongshan.
