The virtual Zhongshan Pavilion at World Expo 2010 Shanghai was launched simultaneously with the opening ceremony yesterday.

The 3D Interaction Venue simulates the panoramic view of Zhongshan Pavilion by means of high-precision virtual technology, so that people from afar can have an immersed sense simply by clicking the mouse to manual or automated modes.
Exhibition zone A Profile of Zhongshan
This zone introduces Zhongshan as the hometown of Dr. Sun Yat-sen, China s great revolutionist and statesman. It exhibits a life-size statue of Dr. Sun Yat-sen, the former residence of Dr. Sun Yat-sen, traditional arcades and local customs of Zhongshan, as well as the great achievements of the "three suitable" construction building Zhongshan into a city suitable for living, innovation and business, presenting to visitors the hometown of a great person that is economically developed, socially harmonious, vigorous and dynamic.
Exhibition zone B History of Zhongshan
This zone traces profound cultural connotation and historical sediment of Zhongshan by virtue of Time Tunnel. Folk customs and history of Zhongshan are displayed on LED and multi-media projection to guide the visitors acquainted with cultural basis and connotation of Zhongshan.
Exhibition zone C Charity Parade
This zone is the focus of Zhongshan Pavilion, presenting the Charity Parade by year via multi-media, which is so vivid that visiting the zone is like experiencing the parade. Five clips are played in a loop to specify the cause, development, volunteering activities, warm-hearted activities, and impact of Charity Parade on shaping proper outlook on life and values and changing social visage.
