Zhongshan and Taiwan explore new development opportunity

The 7-day Taiwan - Guangdong Week with the theme of A trip for cooperation, and a journey for nostalgia was launched yesterday. Led by Acting Mayor Xue Xiaofeng, the Zhongshan Economic and Cultural Exchanges Group arrived in Taipei yesterday to participate in relative activities. During the week, the group will also hold Zhongshan Economic Environment Promotion, pay visits to Zhongshan Fellows Association in Taipei and the headquarters of Taiwan-funded enterprises in Zhongshan, communicate with Taichung business and political celebrities, and visit the Shilin Night Market, Taipei Palace Museum, Kaohsiung Harbor and other economic and cultural facilities.

According to Taiwan business and political celebrities, as the relations across Taiwan Straits is improving, Guangdong and Taiwan economic and trade cooperation, and exchanges in culture, education, sci-tech and other fields will step into a higher level. As the hometown of Dr. Sun Yet-san, Zhongshan will be specially favored by Taiwan businessmen.
