Xinhai Revolution of 1911 will start shooting

Xinhai Revolution of 1911, the historical films supported by CPPCC National Committee, launched a press conference in the hall of CPPCC yesterday.

Zhang Yingmei, the vice chairman, attended the conference and addressed a speech. She remarked that the film with a panoramic picture of the Revolution was attributed to significance of the commemoration of its 100th anniversary. The film should reflect not only the revolution movement of overthrowing the feudal authority and of founding the republic government, but alos the revolutionary spirit of Dr.

Sun Yat-sen and Huang Xing, the patriotism, the universal love, and the never-yielding democratic spirit. The spirit inspired Chinese people to seek a way of Chinese style, and will unite now all the Chinese to build a democratic, civilized, prosperous and unified China.

Wang Xingdong, the scriptwriter and a member of CPPCC, said that the film aims to be a masterpiece with wide influence, high artistic and commercial value.
