2010 Guangdong, Hong Kong and India Economics, Technology & Trade Cooperation Fair co-organized by Guangdong and Hong Kong governments was held in the conference center of Tai Palace Hotel located in downtown New Deli, Capital of India, on Oct. 27th. Over 600 entrepreneurs and governmental officials headed by Huang Huahua, Governor of Guangdong Province, Hong Kong Delegation led by HSAR Chief Executive Mr. Donald Tsang, and over 2,000 Indian senior officials and businessmen attended the opening ceremony.
Contracts have been signed between Guangdong and Indian enterprises for foreign capital attraction, import and export trade, overseas investment and engineering contracting projects in the merchants-gathering fair. Of the total 5.517 billion dollars, the volumes of foreign capital hit 2.012 billion, trade turnover 3.03 billion, overseas investment 0.087 billion, and contracting projects 0.388 billion dollars. This is the largest, most influential and remarkable economic and trade feast ever held by China in India.
Economic and trade cooperative mechanism memorandum was also signed between Guangdong Economic and Trade Department and India Tata Consultancy Services Limited that morning.
