Forbes "Innovation of the Chinese Mainland Cities 2010" list was announced yesterday and Zhongshan ranks the 15th. Besides, Zhongshan is also elected as Best Business Cities of Chinese Mainland 2010.
This survey for city innovation is about 132 mainland cities, each of which had a GDP of over 36 billion yuan in 2009. The index includes the patent number(both per capita and the gross) and scientific-technological expenses and so on. Shenzhen, Shanghai and Suzhou ranks the top 3 while Zhongshan is the fourth Guangdong city on the list after Shenzhen, Dongguan and Guangzhou.
On the Best Business Cities of Chinese Mainland 2010 list announced earlier, Zhongshan ranked the 39th, the fifth Guangdong city on the list after Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Foshan and Dongguan.
