Ever since the State Tax Office of Shantou Government Service Center put on trial the One City Through services last September 1, the trial service has been working perfectly. By September 15, the State Tax Office has processed 719 tax related cases in the first tax declaration period. The Shantou State Tax Bureau is now preparing for the initiation of the One City Through services throughout the urban districts. Since October 8, about 93 of the taxpayers in urban Shantou (23208 taxpayers) will be able to enjoy this service. Despite their locations, taxpayers may choose any tax office to handle tax related services. While the state tax offices improve their tax collection efficiency and service quality, the taxpayers enjoy more convenient services.
