In the selection activity of 12th China Patent Award jointly organized by the State Intellectual Property Office (SIPO) and the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), 4 projects of Shantou have won the gold award and outstanding awards respectively.
China Patent Award is the supreme government's award in the patent field in China. In this session, only 15 projects throughout the country are selected and rewarded the honors of gold award. The project of "copper plate composite-hole cooling stave" of Shantou Huaxing Metallurgical Equipment Co., Ltd. is one of them. In addition, three projects, i.e., "laser pattern embossing production process" of Guangdong Magnolia Packing Machinery Co., Ltd., "toy" of Guangdong Alpha Animation and Culture Co., Ltd., and "fireplace" of Shantou Huashachi Furniture and Furnishings Co., Ltd., have won the outstanding awards.
