A delegation of five headed by Professor Barney Glover, Executive Vice President from the University of Newcastle, Australia visited ECUST on Oct.24, 2008. The rest of the delegation were Professor Bill Hogarth, Vice President (education, basic sciences and information technology) of the University of Newcastle, Professor Scott Holmes, Dean of Graduate School, Mr. Liu Mian, Director of International Business Development, and Mr. Jiang Nan, Assistant Chief Representative in China .
Ma Yulu, Vice President of ECUST and Professor Barney Glover, ExecutiveVice President of the University of Newcastle signed Cooperation Agreement on Undergraduate Education" and "Memorandum on Establishment and Management of Courses on Jointly Granted Advanced Research Degree" which were the second and the third cooperation agreement after a memorandum of inter-school cooperation signed in May this year.
