ECUST Vice President Meets Chairman of Australia-China Cultural and Educational Exchange Center

ECUST Vice President Tu Shandong met Dr. Jiang Fan- Chairman of the Australia-China Cultural and Educational Exchange Center on Jan. 20th 2010.

Dr. Jiang Fan has been actively engaged in the promotion of Australian-Sino exchanges on culture, education, science and technology, successfully making arrangements of visiting delegations of up to several hundreds and developing a number of cooperation projects between the two governments and educational institutions.

Vice president Tu Shandong and Dr. Chiang Fan exchanged pragmatic discussions on how to deepen Sino-Australian co-operation on issues of education, scientific researches, and the training of teaching and administrative staff. Zhu Xue-dong, Deputy Director of Personnel office of ECUST, and Bao Hua, Deputy Director of International Affairs Office also participated in the talks.

It is believed that ECUST will speed up the pace of building an internationalized campus by not only strengthening international cooperation and exchanges in teaching and scientific research work but also increasing among administrative staff the exchanges with foreign universities, thus enhancing international management skills.
