On the afternoon of April 15, Tongji s vice-president Dong Qi met with Mr. Marc Lucas, vice-president of Mines ParisTech, and Mr. Jean du Mouza, dean of International Affairs, accompanied by Mr. Philippe, director of Paris Institute of Technology, China.
Two sides had deep discussion about education philosophy, cultural exchange and cooperation, and Sino-France dual degree program on the basis of long-term cooperation between each other.
After the meeting, the delegation from Mines ParisTech had a workshop with the representatives from College of Electronics and Information Engineering, College of Mechanical Engineering, School of Ocean and Earth Science of Tongji University, talking about possible collaboration in which both sides were interested and fitted in each school s need.
Later, the delegation from Mines ParisTech introduced their engineer education and programs to Tongji students, and answered their questions.
