Recently President Pei Gang met with 28 Tongji students studying abroad in Munich, Germany. Most of them are studying in Ludwig-Maximilians-Universit t M nchen (LMU) and Technische Universit t M nchen (TUM), some of them are national dispatch CSC Phd students, some are dual master degree students, some are exchange students, and others are the newly graduated students from Tongji and go further study in Munich now. Every student briefed his current study situation and asked the development of Tongji eagerly.
President Pei Gang introduced a new series of ongoing reform initiatives of Tongji, especially focused on its international cooperation, discipline construction, and talent training projects. He encouraged all of the students to be confident, hardworking, treasure the opportunity studying in Germany, try best to make progress on their specialty, enhance the awareness of innovation, and win glory for Tongji University.
