Peking University. Beijing. Jun 3, 2009: Four students from the School of Software and Microelectronics, Peking University have won the China round of the 2009 Dare to be Digital competition, organized by British Council, and will be on a 10-week travel to Scotland to participate in the final round.
The competition is initiated by the University of Abertay Dundee (UK) and open to international postgraduates or undergraduates who will produce a video game prototype every summer. In the final round, all the winner teams from around the world will gather at the University of Abertay Dundee to attend business training classes. And the champion of the competition will have the opportunity to receive professional business guidance and support to market the video games produced.
Since 2005, students from the Digital Arts Academy of the School of Software and Microelectronics have represented Peking University to participate in the competition and have won the China round for 3 successive years.
