(Hong Kong, 14 October 2010) Leading PRC real estate developer Kaisa Group Holdings Limited ( Kaisa or the Company or, together with its subsidiaries, the Group ; stock code: 1638) announced today that, on 13 October, the Company acquired a land parcel in Shunde, Guangdong through auction for approximately RMB230 million, in a bid to further strengthen the Group s land reserves.
Located at Xincheng District, Beijiao Town, Shunde, Guangdong, the land parcel occupies a site area of approximately 32,820 square meters with a planned total gross area of approximately 72,202 square meters, and the average GFA land cost is approximately RMB3,185 per square meter. The Group has plans for a landmark development comprising medium- to high-end residential apartments to be built upon the site.

Together with the Jiangyin site and the Taicang site, both in Jiangsu, acquired earlier in September, the latest acquisition will allow us to further optimize our land reserve mix, noted Mr. Kwok.
