Chairman Xu Speaking on the Starting Ceremony of Guangdong Poverty Reduction Day

A grand ceremony marking the start of Guangdong Poverty Reduction Day was held in Sun Yat-sen s Memorial Hall of Guangzhou in the afternoon of June 30. Present at the ceremony were more than 1,600 people, including Wang Yang, member of the Political Bureau of CPC Central Committee and Secretary of the Party Committee of Guangdong Province, Huang Huahua, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Governor of Guangdong Province, Ou Guangyuan, Chairman of the Standing Committee of Guangdong Provincial People s Congress, Huang Longyun, Chairman of CPPCC Guangdong Provincial Committee, Zhu Xiaodan, member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Executive Vice Governor of Guangdong Province, Xin Rongguo, member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Commander of the Military Region of Guangdong Province, Xu Shaohua, member of the Standing Committee and Secretary General of the Party Committee of Guangdong Province, Vice Governor Li Ronggen, Vice Chairmen Yao Zhibin and Xu Shangwu of CPPCC Guangdong Provincial Committee, and representatives of donating enterprises (persons) and all social sectors.

Professor Xu Jiayin, Board Chairman of Evergrande Real Estate Group, delivered a speech at the ceremony as the only representative of Guangdong entrepreneurs.
