US-based Eaton Group, a Fortune 500 company, is a world-leading manufacturer of diversified industrial products. On November 6, Alexander M. Cutler, Chairman of Eaton, led a delegation of senior company executives to visit SANY.
Eaton Group held a technical exchange & exhibition meeting in the hall of R&D building on the day, introducing products with worldwide competitive strength such as environment-friendly hydraulic pressure technology, automatic transmission technology and electronic supply chain, etc. to SANY staff.
Eaton's technology to save energy and reduce emission and its hydraulic pressure technology will greatly boost the development of both China and SANY, said SANY's Chairman Liang Wengen at the exhibition.
Both Eaton and SANY pay great attention to technology and have a rosy future, because less than 30% of the world population (6.6 billion) is truly enjoying industrialization, said Chairman Liang. Chairman Liang firmly believes that Eaton and SANY can make contributions to worldwide industrialization with their technologies and strengths.
Chairman Liang anticipates further deepening of its cooperation with Eaton on the basis of customer relationships. For example, Eaton Group can give lectures at SANY, to guide SANY's globalization efforts, and cultivate technologies and management talents for SANY.
At the same time, Liang hopes the parts provided by Eaton will be differentiated so as to prevent destructive competition.
Cutler said that after hearing SANY's introduction, he felt SANY was pretty much similar to Eaton in values and he appreciated SANY's core values described as "a good personality goes before a successful career and good quality changes the world".
Eaton is a Fortune 500 company with nearly 100 years' history. The company achieved a sale revenue of USD13 billion in 2007 and is predicting USD16 billion in sales this year. Eaton has more than 82,000 employees in 150 countries across the world. The success of Eaton lies in the fact that we have robust customers as SANY, said Cutler. SANY witnessed sales revenue from a bit over USD100 million five years ago to USD2.1 billion in 2007, the sales growth is remarkable, he added. Cutler expressed his strong willingness to conduct long-term cooperation and further talents exchange with SANY.
The visit by the top management of Eaton is expected to further promote cooperation and result in performance improvement of SANY's hydraulic pressure products.
