Words from Chairman Liang Wengen to Young Employees

Write: Pacifico [2011-05-20]

"Your suggestions will assist us in making decisions." Liang Wengen expressed his sincere thanks to young employees for their constructive suggestions at the symposium held on July 31. Moreover, Mr. Liang required that the young employees should set up lofty ideal, learn hard, and identify with Sany's culture.

Set up Lofty Ideal

Mr. Liang said the key to success lies in setting up lofty ideal. Statistics revealed that only 11% of university students achieved success after graduation and all of them had set up lofty ideal at the very beginning and were willing to go all out for the ideal. Furthermore, 4% of them achieved huge success because they bore the ideal in mind. Mr. Liang said: "I am one member of the 4%. It does not mean I have achieved huge success but imply that I bear the ideal in mind. "He added: "The first thing you should do upon graduation is to firmly set up ideal." He expected those young employees without ideal to reevaluate themselves and to set up their ideal as soon as possible.
"You should integrate your own interest and strengths with your ideal." Mr. Liang said, "it is valuable to know yourself, and only when you have full understanding of your own strengths and interest and integrate them can you make an all-out attempt to work and enjoy yourself in working."
Ideal should keep pace with the times. During college days, Mr. Liang was interested in poems, and he always recited Pushkin's poems on his way home or to school. However, in 1980s, he sensed that the way for China was not poem but reform and the way for reform lied in revitalizing large and medium-sized enterprises. At that time, the key for China's development depended on enterprises: the stronger the enterprises are, the stronger the country is. Such being the case, Mr. Liang devoted himself to economics and management, and vowed to become an excellent entrepreneur as the times needed. Therefore, Mr. Liang integrated his ideal with the need of the times.
"Ideal should conform to the majority's benefit." Mr. Liang stressed that the ideal should be differentiated from desire, and he said "ideal is for the majority's happiness and benefit, and for social progress; however, desire is for personal power, wealth and enjoyment. On the whole, ideal is for the mass, and desire is for yourself."
Mr. Liang said: "The driving power for realizing ideal should start from parents, brothers, and friends to the country and the whole society, which is the best reflection of an outstanding youth's sense of responsibility. To strive for more people, you will get stronger and make higher achievements." Mr. Liang required that the young employees should merge into society to struggle for the ideal while getting rid of the obsession of personal desire and petty profit.

Learn Hard

Mr. Liang said: "The young employees should keep pace with the times and never cease learning. In college, you have learned the learning methods, and then in society, you should make use of these methods to learn. No learning habit, no success!" Mr. Liang added: "You should spare at least one hour to learn everyday, which will help you realize your ideal over time."

Identify with Sany's Culture

Mr. Liang said: "Sany people are dedicated to the only goal which is 'Quality Changes the World', and Sany determines to alter Chinese products'image of being inferior in quality and low in price in the global market with top quality. This is Sany's mission."
Mr. Liang said:"The motivation for your learning in school is to alter the fate of yourself and your families, and in Sany, you should undertake the mission of 'Quality Changes the World', in an effort to produce top quality products in the world. Furthermore, this mission is a lofty ideal awaiting your unceasing endeavor and devotion."
With the development of globalization and industrialization, Sany has produced the top quality products in the world, which will bring strong confidence to Chinese people and make great contribution to human being. Meanwhile, during the process of fulfilling the mission, Sany will cultivate a great many talents in management and R & D in addition to creating top quality culture in the world and advancing the quality of Chinese products.
Mr. Liang said with passion: "If China manufactures top quality products in the world, China is bound to be prosperous and strong. He expected young employees to join hands with Sany in order to bring Sany into the list of "Top 500 of the World" and achieve great revival of the Chinese nation.
