On February 28, 2008, Sany held the 2008 Report Meeting on Business Plan and Five-Year Plan. The Sany Five-Year Plan explicitly propose the business strategic objective of "a scale of over 100 million to accomplish internationalized Sany", the vision of "growing into the outstanding equipment leader and a global respectable enterprises" and the mission of "quality changes the world".
Open full-circulation era, pledge a renewed two-year lockup of shares
On June 17, the date of beginning of the era of full circulation of the Shanghai and Shenzhen stock exchanges, as the first real full-circulated stock, Sany Heavy Industry held the press conference to enormously heighten the threshold of reduction. Its major shareholder Sany pledged a voluntarily renewed two-year lockup from June 19 of its 518.126188 million shares of Sany Heavy Industry on which a ban was lifted on June 17; and it would not reduce its shares of Sany Heavy Industry through the secondary market if the price of secondary market of the shares of Sany Heavy Industry was lower than twice the closing price (55.76 yuan/share) on June 16 within two years as of June 17.
Plunge into forefront of snowstorm and quake relief, fulfill social responsibility
In the once-in-a-century snowstorm in South China in January 2008, Sany Heavy Industry donated 3 million yuan and dispatched 24 graders to the Beijing-Zhuhai Highway. After ten days and ten nights of efforts, the highway was open to traffic. After the Wenchuan earthquake in May, Sany promptly donated18 million yuan, marshaled equipment, sent staff for quake relief, and made an additional donation in support of post-disaster reconstruction.

To achieve the objective of 100 billion, in April, Sany, driven by management innovation, introduced the advanced corporate management method-Six Sigma management. Sany's CYL Committee established as largest CYL committee of private enterprises in Hunan and the industry
On March 18, the 1st CYL Congress of Sany Group Co., Ltd. was held successfully, through which all agendas were rounded off, and 17 members of Sany's first Communist Youth League (CYL) Committee with Liang Yezhong as secretary were selected. Sany's YLC, with nearly 7,000 members, is the largest CYL committee of private enterprises in Hunan Province and China's construction machinery industry.
