AWEA Windpower Conference & Exhibition is the world s largest and most anticipated annual event for wind energy. It was held on May 23-26 at Dallas convention center. SANY Electric, as a large Chinese wind turbine manufacturer and subsidiary of SANY Group, impressed the world by showcasing their entire wind industry product line at the exhibition which marked its expansion into the U.S. market.
SANY Electric took Booth #11854 which occupied 180 square meters of exhibit space. SANY Electric made a splash in the exhibition with its 2.0MW wind turbine and all other SANY wind industry products, including the tideland construction, offshore wind turbine installation equipment and the grid wind-PV-battery complement hybrid power generation system.
SANY s complete portfolio convinced its R&D and manufacturing strength. The SANY 2.0MW wind turbine, adopting mid-speed double-fed technology, has a double bearing support structure with a lower gearbox load and transmission ratio to create a slower rotational speed. It has already produced wind energy within China and will be erected in the U.S. in several different states.
SANY Electric also advances in wind turbine installation with its specific-purpose six degree wind turbine installer. It integrates the loading, transportation and installation of the offshore wind turbine. The installer features in its high stability with jacking system, high efficiency of its supporting crane system and its numerically controlled system.
What s more, SANY Electric proposed a large scale Wind-PV-Battery complement hybrid system, including wind turbines, PV system, MES system, Complement power generation system to deal with wind variability and uncertainty. The designing concept of this Wind-PV-Battery complement hybrid system impressed numerous visitors and AWEA official media did an exclusive interview on this.
