China's first LED TVs export to Russia

In May, 2009, Hisense exported LED (backlight) LCD TVs to Russia, which makes Hisense become China s first LED manufacturer to export LED TVs.
Even during the global financial crisis when purchasing habits have shifted dramatically, flat-panel TV manufacturers both at home and abroad have made great efforts in promoting LED Backlight LCD TVs.
On May 21st and 22nd at the Russia - EU summit in Khabarovsk, Russia, Hisense brand televisions appeared in all conference rooms. The Russia - EU Summit is a large multi-national conference held every six months. Participants include Russian President Dmitry Medvedev, European Union President, Jose Barroso, and EU member states representatives.
