The Ninth Painting and calligraphy, Handicrafts and Photographic Exhibition is held in Beijing Planetarium. More than 300 works from citizens of communities and streets in Xicheng district are on show at the exhibition. The exhibition is part of the activities of "being civilized and polite Beijingers". People wrote and painted about the harmonious society and peaceful life. With their distinctive characteristics of the times and artistic appeals, the paintings and other works on the exhibition, are all expressing the happiness and hopes of life of citizens.
