The State Council s 8th Document of 2010 has approved that 2 new primary doctorate programs and 21 new primary master programs were accredited to Shenzhen University.
The 2 primary doctorate programs are Theoretical Economics and Information and telecommunication Engineering. The 21 primary master programs are Philosophy, Law, Political Science, Pedagogy, Sports Science, Chinese Language and Literature, Foreign Language and Literature, Journalism and Media, Art, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science and Engineering, Electronic Science and Technology, Control Science and Technology, Computer Science and Technology, Civil Engineering, and Business Administration.
So far, the total primary doctorate programs of Shenzhen University has reached 3 covering 9 secondary disciplines, and primary master programs 25, covering 139 secondary disciplines in addition to another 15 accredited secondary master programs.
