AUSTRALIAN GUESTS VISITED SDUST

Prof. Chris Letchford, Dean of the College of Engineering??Ann Ryan, Director of Transnational Education Center, both from the University of Tasmania, Australia and Liu Jun, Director of agency of NMIT in Shanghai, China visited SDUST on April 8th. Prof. Jin Fengxiang, Vice-President of SDUST in charge of international exchange, met with the guests in the company of senior staffs of International Office of SDUST and Jinan Branch Campus.
Jin Fenxiang extended his warm welcome to Chris Letchford and his party and he introduced to the guests recent developments of SDUST in teaching, scientific research and personnel cultivation, saying that on the basis of its 60-year progress, The ****** unceasing efforts of SDUST for enhancement. Several state-level disciplines and programs in the domain of electronic engineering have been established, which would provide ideal platform for student cultivation and thus benefit future bilateral cooperations.
Chris Letchford felt impressed during his second visit to China and hoped his visit to SDUST could help to explore cooperative possibilities in subjects such as electronic and civil engineering.
Chris Letchford and his party had friendly exchanges with relevant academic and administrative personnel and visited some laboratories.
