CJLU Delegation Led by President Prof. Jianzhong Lin Visited Germany and France

President of CJLU Prof. Jianzhong Lin led a six-person delegation to visit Germany and France from February 2 to February 10, 2007. During their stay in Germany, the delegation visited the Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt (PTB), RWTH Aachen University of Technology and Brockhaus Messtechnik.

In France, the delegation visited the Groupe des Ecoles de Mines and l Universit de Versailles. The delegation had broad discussions with European partners in the fields of joint research, faculty and student exchange, and joint degree programs. In Versailles, Prof. Lin also signed an exchange agreement with l Universit de Versailles.

The delegation got a deeper understanding of the higher education in Europe by discussing with professors and administrators there. Furthermore, this visit will improve the cooperation between CJLU and European universities and research institutes in the future. Invited by President Prof. Lin, professors and experts from the above institutions are planning to visit CJLU within the year to reach concrete projects.
