Project headed by Prof. Yang Zhen won national first prize

On the arrival of the 25th Teachers Day, Prof. Yang Zhen was in Beijing meeting General Secretary of CCCP, President and Chairman of CMC Hu JingTao, executive member of PBCCCP and Premier Wen JiaBao, executive member of PBCCCP Li ChangChun, executive member of PBCCCP, Secretary of CCCP and Vice President Xi JinPin on the national meeting honoring excelent educational groups and educators celebrating the coming Teachers Day.
On the meeting, the project Research and practice in educating high quality and creativve talents of information science headed by Prof. Yang Zhen won first prize of the 6th national award of high education, the only prize received by JiangSu-based undergraduate universities and the only natioanl prize ever received by NUPT honoring educational or teaching reform and research.
