IEEE Fellow, alumnus Gao Yuqing is hired as NUPT adjunct professor

On the morning of May 5th, IEEE Fellow, Researcher IBM Research center chief, NUPT 79th alumnus Dr. Gao Yuqing is hired officially as NUPT adjunct professor. The hiring ceremony is held in Lyceum, first floor of Administration building in Xianlin Campus. President Yang Zhen attends the ceremony, and issues appointment letter of adjunct professor to Dr. Gao Yuqing and puts on the school badge for him. The ceremony is presided by Personnel Office Head Zhou Jian.
President Yang Zhen expresses the sincere congratulations to the appointment of Dr. Gao. He indicates happily that Dr. Gao Yuqing is the unique NUPT alumnus in IEEE Fellow in the speech recognition and signal processing domain till now, she has made outstanding contributions for the universe in speech recognition and signal processing domain and so on, which makes the alma mater proud, and he believes that, with the alliance of Dr. Gao, the developments of alma mater will be faster and better. He invites Professor Gao with gracious invitation to go home often at his convenience, to carry out more research and exchange with NUPT teachers and students.
Dr. Gao Yuqing has accepted President Yang's invitation happily, and she indicated: the first step I grew and enterprise's foundation are all in NUPT, this stage is quite important for me, thanks NUPT, thanks Alma Mater. Her gratitude for Alma Mater shows between the lines.
After the ceremony, Professor Gao has gave academic reports on Software Technology Trends and Efficient Resource Provisioning in Compute Clouds via VM Multiplexing separately for the teachers and students.
