NUPT held a grand 2010th Postgraduate Commencement

On the afternoon of April 17th, the sun shone bright while spring breeze was pleasantly warm, a grand 2010th Postgraduate Commencement was held at the Little Hall of Sanpailou Campus. Participants at the ceremony included NUPT President Yang Zhen, Vice Secretary of the Standing Committee of CPC NUPT Cao JinCai, and Vice Presidents Zhu Yongpin, Huang Wei, Liu Chen, Zhu Hongbo, Zhang Chunfu, etc.. Vice-president Zhu Hongbo presided over the commencement.
Professor Yang Zhen, NUPT President & Chairman of the Evaluation Committee for Academic Degrees, delivered an opening speech. On behalf of NUPT, he gave his congratulations to the students who had completed their studies and been ready to step into the society and the front of modernization construction. He pointed out that the graduates of NUPT always bear the historical mission and respond to the call of the times in high-spirited posture, diligent spirit and responsible attitude during the globalization process of knowledge economy and a new round of the higher education reform. He went on encouraging the graduates to remember Alma Mater's request, that is, all the graduates should hold lofty aspirations, work earnestly, innovate bravely, improve constantly and never forget to serve for the country and society. He expected that the graduates would bear in mind the honor and pride of being NUPT's graduates, pay continuous attention to and give full support to Alma Mater's developments and devote their wisdom and power to NUPT's tomorrow.
In the festive music, President Yang Zhen awarded the Doctor s Degree Certificates and other school leaders awarded Master's Degree Certificates. The warm and solemn Little Hall was filled with an amiable atmosphere of graduates' delights and appreciations, teachers' requests and encouragements.
