National University of Singapore President Chen Zhuquan visited NUPT

Recently, NUPT Vice-President Professor Huang Wei invited, National University of Singapore President Professor Chen Zhuquan, Business School Dean Professor Yang Xian, Dean of the Faculty of Architecture and Design Professor Wang Caiqiang, Foreign Affairs Department senior manager Xu Fengxian, to visit our school, and the two sides held cordial and friendly talks.
Chen Zhuquan, President of National University of Singapore, described the whole principal achievements in recent years, and on how to implement the industrialization of scientific and technological cooperation and advance other issues were discussed, and the discussion that can be combined with the NUPT recently approved "Organic Electronics and Information Display Laboratory" State Key Laboratory Breeding Base of building a common platform for cooperation to promote construction of two schools, a project to handle, matured one, entered an order to speed up scientific and technological achievements into the service economy.
After the meeting, accompanied by Vice-President Huang Wei, Jiangsu Provincial Science and Technology Department Director Zhu Kejiang met with President Chen Zhuquan and his party. On behalf of Jiangsu Provincial Science and Technology Department, Director Zhu Kejiang welcomed President Chen and his party, and the Director Zhu said, Jiangsu Province and Singapore in science and technology are maintaining a good relationship, he cited the successful project of Singapore in Jiangsu, and hoped National University of Singapore take an active participation of Jiangsu economic, technological and social development in the new round of development. The Science and Technology Department is willing to set up in Jiangsu Province National University of Singapore Research Platform to provide all facilities.
Principal Chen Zhuquan stated, Jiangsu Province has made remarkable achievements in economy. For this great opportunity, the National University should actively participate in economic and technological developments of Jiangsu. He also said he would actively promote the construction of research institutions with NUPT to jointly carry out research and development of cutting-edge technology.
